AQVART - INTERNATIONAL ART MEETING


The exhibition Aqvart which opens with its second edition at the Scuola Grande di San Teodoro in Venice, stems from the desire to underline the importance which has had always water from the point of view of urban, economic and city development for the choice of places where build human settlements. and particularly in the culture and history of Venetian handicrafts.

THe magnific venetian handcraft has always inspirated artists from
all over the world but on the another hand
was inspirated by beauty of relation between town and water

Scuola Grande San Teodoro  is the seat of the oldest Venetian confraternity built around the 8th century as a sign of devotion to the first patron saint of the city of Venice. It is located two minutes from the Rialto Bridge  and near to San Marco square. During the exhibition  of AqvArt  very often in the evening  will be celebreted the concerts of the I Musici Veneziani orchestra  because the first floor baroque hall is also the center of venetian classic music          ( the famous  place where the musicians play dressed in historical costume).
